A friendly smile, a silver earring, and a rusty chain

Today I felt like posting something different and taking a break from the whole tilit-shift craze that’s in my head. I found this picture in my archives, and must have skipped over it since I cannot remember ever seeing it…
I do however remember taking this photograph during the local government elections in Grahamstown, where this man was waiting in line, leaning casually against as wall, with a smile on his face, and a rusty chain around his neck.
