Handstand Sunset

This is what a typical Kariba sunset would look like if you’d be doing a handstand. Did I do handstands whilst looking at the sunset - no.

Did I by accident rotate my picture by 180 degrees and enjoy the effect - yes!

Definitely something different. I had to flip it the right way to actually appreciate the “accidental” flip Still a very nice shot. Just out of curiosity, what camera do you use?

Mac, all the pics you see here, taken of Kariba and Zimbabwe, were taken with a Canon G7. It is an awesome machine! My primary camera is actually a Nikon D200, but for security reasons I could not travel with it to Zimbabwe.

Security reasons? As in afraid of it being stolen, or couldn’t get it across the border?

No, carrying such equipment would be very suspicious. Photographers and journalists are not very welcome in Zimbabwe, many get locked up if caught reporting or taking pics. So the G7 was the perfect tool to use. Great qualitly and unobtrusive.
