Wild Black Stallion in the Namib Desert

Wild Horses of the Namib desert

Whilst traveling through Namibia as a kid I clearly remember seeing the wild feral horses of the Namib Desert, and ever since I related that image with the country. These horses are exceptionally beautiful, elegant, and of course wild, and that is definitive of Namibia!

This photo (taken many years later) has re-awakened my child-hood memories of that unforgettable trip.
